We have spent the past six years capturing weddings across Ontario - during that time, it has been a privilege building meaningful connections with the couples we work with, and sharing our passion for storytelling. Lesliefilms has grown into something much bigger - a body of work shaped by the people we have met and the moments we have been lucky enough to witness. Every wedding has its own energy, its own story, and being trusted to capture it is not something we take lightly. Whether you're in Toronto, Ottawa, Kingston, and beyond, no matter where your wedding takes place, we are always willing to travel and be part of your day.
Our focus is on creating cinematic wedding films that feel natural, emotional, and true to you. We take an observant, authentic, intentional approach - capturing what is already there, as it unfolds. From the major milestones to the quieter in-between moments, we aim to preserve your day in a way that feels honest and complete. The result is more than just a video - it is a film that reflects how your day actually felt, and something you will come back to for years to come.

Meet the Twins Behind LeslieFilms
Sam Leslie
Sam Leslie is an emerging media professional with a focus in cinematography. Founding LeslieFilms with his twin brother in 2021, Sam has also worked as a freelance videographer in music, real estate and corporate content. Sam has a passion for storytelling, and it comes out with every love story he has the opportunity to tell. His other interests include playing guitar, going camping and reading non-fiction.
Our Mission
At LeslieFilms, we strive to deliver to you a unique cinematic experience of the moments that made your future. With a strong background in cinematography, our team will capture your special day as it happens, documenting every moment to ensure you have a high-quality, timeless recording of your wedding day.
We deliver our wedding video within 8-12 weeks of your wedding day.
Yes! Let us know if you have any unique events or elements you would like to have captured, and we can work with you to come up with a shooting plan.
Our full footage add-on is a single video file (about 20GB) with all the footage from your wedding day (typically 3-5 hours) that you can watch like a home video.
Our 4K raw footage add-on includes a hard drive with all individual, unprocessed video files (around 500GB), ideal for those who may want to revisit the edit in the future.
Both add-ons include indefinite back-up on our end. We keep your footage for up to a year, giving you the option to purchase at any time within that period.

My Wedding is Unique. Can you accomodate?
Absolutely! Let us know if you have any unique events or elements you would like to have captured, and we will work with you, your photographer and any other planners to ensure we are prepared to capture your day as it unfolds.
Do you offer photography?
We specialize in cinematic wedding films, and do not offer photography. However, we know a lot of great photographers for different budget levels, and we are happy to give you reccomendations!
